Fern + Fae began as a spark of inspiration—an intuitive calling to create a space where beauty and healing could harmonize. After over a decade of working as a hairstylist, Melanie realized her craft extended far beyond outward appearances. She noticed something magical happening during her sessions: a connection to the energy of her clients and their crown chakras, the spiritual center linked to enlightenment, clarity, and higher consciousness.
A s Melanie listened to the stories her clients shared, she recognized a deeper need—a need for balance, renewal, and self-discovery. She felt drawn to transform the traditional salon experience into a nurturing sanctuary where clients could align their outer beauty with their inner energy. This dream blossomed into Fern + Fae, a haven where haircare becomes a ritual of transformation and self-care becomes an act of magic.
Guided by a mission to promote holistic well-being, Melanie infused Fern + Fae with her passion for mindful practices and natural healing. For me, breaking up with toxic hair care products and making the change to a sustainable approach was just the beginning. I started feeling healthier and walking with a little more pep in my step. Now, I want that for you, too! I believe that the best way to take care of any guest in my chair is to take care of the world around me and show others how simple changes can make all the difference.
